Hey there, Newgrounds community.

Psych Squared Studios, a rising star in the international music scene, has recently started putting out a weekly podcast. When recording, we decided it would just sound better if we made some chilled out beats to play behind our voices, and when we started doing that we realized we could just publish those little clips and let people use them in their games and movies on here. So that's what we're doing.

In the next few weeks, on thursdays, you will be able to snag brand new background loops and riffs for free and open use in any and all creative projects of yours. All we ask is that you give us credit and check out our other material, all available for free on our studio soundcloud at soundcloud.com/psych2 .

That's all for now. Thanks for checking us out!

Well hey there everyone. My names Daniel, and I'm the bassist/lead lyricist for Saint Louis, MO based electro/soul band The Psychedelic Psychonauts.

We've been playing shows around our fair city since January (and actually have a free one coming up this Friday if you're around here and happen to be available), and we're very proud of both our work with music and where we're headed as a company. You should give us a listen! Head over to our recording studio's website and poke around, listen to a few tracks and let us know what you think!

We've signed on with Newgrounds because we're embarking on a new project, and know that the community of musicians, animators, and game designers here could really help us go places with what we have in mind. We're planning on composing a long series of pieces dedicated to different neighborhoods around St. Louis as if they were levels in a video game, with the end goal being that we actually meet someone with the skill and desire to help us realize a long standing dream of directing our own video game about our lives and the music scene in St. Louis. While that may be a bit of an ambitious starting point, we realize this, and know that the best way to generate interest is to say: Hey everyone! Check out these free beats!

That being said, we're looking forward to being a part of the community here on Newgrounds, and can't wait to make music with, and for, you guys.

The Psychonauts Have Arrived!
